Would really appreciate any help with this if possible. Got a Macbook Pro 9 2 13" (mid 2012) with 8Gb RAM and 1TB HDD, running Yosemite 10.10.5, at the moment it's taking 57 seconds from power on to login screen, seems to be hanging on the Apple logo screen with progress bar. I've been scouring the forums all day (already done reinstall, PRAM reset, SMC reset, permissions repaired) and finally decided to just ask.
